TOMATIN

With a history dating back to 1897, Tomatin produces single malt Scotch with a legacy of exquisite fruity Highland notes, and a reputation for a mellow, fruity spirit that represents the ‘softer side’ of the Highlands region.

Tomatin Legacy

This non-age statement expression pays tribute to the impact the distillery has had on the community of the eponymous town. Matured in a combination of ex-bourbon barrels and virgin oak casks, you get a lovely clean lemon citrus nose with green apple. A sweet barley palate, which moves into pineapple sweets and toasted oak. The finish is sweet but with a touch of spice. Makes for a great mixing scotch, best in a highball! (BUY NOW)

Tomatin 12 Year Old

The core Tomatin 12 Year Old expression is first matured in ex-bourbon casks before spending an additional 6-9 months in ex-Oloroso sherry butts. The nose is buttery raisin and almonds. The palate is sweet with oak, vanilla, stem ginger and dried citrus peel. The finish dry, cake like with touches of honey. Great neat or in a highball. (BUY NOW)

Tomatin 14 Year Old

First matured in ex-bourbon barrels before being finished in selected port pipes, the port influence gives this whisky a pungent nose of red berries grapes, vanilla and white pepper. The palate is sweet and full. Victoria sponge cake, raspberry jam and custard. Toasted nuts as well. The finish is fruity with soft tannins and pleasant oak. Great neat or on ice. (BUY NOW)

Tomatin 18 Year Old

First matured in ex-bourbon casks and then finished in ex-Oloroso sherry butts, this great whisky has a nose that is grape-y with winter spice, clove and cinnamon. Green flavours with hints of vanilla. The palate is sweet and full, with barley sugar and honey, with touches of chocolate and cocoa. The finish is dry, oaky and with touch of pepper. A great whisky to savour neat. (BUY NOW)

PORTER’S

How do you make a drink made with the exceptional Porter’s Gin even better? Why, pair it with the ‘Champagne of tonic waters’, East Imperial, of course!

Championed by bartenders all over the world, Porter’s Gin was created by a trio of bartender friends who wanted a gin that stands up in mixed drinks,, even building their own vacuum still so they could distill their gins at a lower temperature. This process, called cold (vacuum) distillation, brings forth the lighter, more volatile flavours of the botanicals, which includes a hard-to-come-by citrus called Buddha’s Hand.

The crisp, stunning flavours of Porter’s makes it an ideal pairing with the ‘champagne of tonic waters’, East Imperial, which is made from the purest of water from New Zealand, and uses local ingredients from all over South East Asia, with no artificial ingredients and no added sweeteners or preservatives.

Porter’s Modern Classic x East Imperial Burma

Well-balanced, juniper-led and with a smooth citrus profile, this is an ideal gin for long drinks and highballs. It also makes for an excellent Gin And Tonic when paired with the East Imperial Burma Tonic Water, which has the highest level of quinine on the market, boasting a palate that is warm and spicy with a hint of cinnamon and a fresh finish full of lime zest. Porter’s Tropical Old Tom x East Imperial Yuzu Tonic

For their Old Tom Gin, Porter’s took their Classic gin and added distillates of passion fruit, guava and white tea. The sweetness of the gin makes for a great long Gin and Tonic, especially when paired with the East Imperial Yuzu Tonic, made with yuzu fruit harvested in Northern Japan, which adds a big and zesty citrus bomb to your GnT. Porter’s Orchard Gin x Yuzu Lemonade

The blanc de blanc champagne-inspired Orchard Gin is made using a cold distillate of apple and pears, which gives the gin chardonnay grape notes. A soybean distillate is also used, giving it rich and buttery notes. Finally, a red apple extract is added to give colour to the gin. For this pairing, we’ve gone with a citrus twist, with the Yuzu Lemonade, a bright and exotic take on traditional lemonade that combines the zest and oils of the Japanese yuzu citrus with natural cane sugar.
